Reece James Career
Reece James was born in December 8, 1999 in Redbridge London. He joined the Chelsea academy in 2006 and was training as a professional football until 2016 when he was included in the Chelsea youth team.
After joining the Chelsea youth in 2016, Reece joined the under 18 team in the 2017-18 season and made 27 Premier League under 18 appearance scoring a goal and registered six assists. The same season, he won the FA Youth Cup with the under 18 which he was the captain and won the player of the season award.
During the 2018-19 season, Chelsea loaned him out for a season to Wigan Athletic in the Championship. He made 45 appearances for the club, scored three goal, and managed three assists. On July 2019, Chelsea was banned by FIFA from signing players for breaching article 19 of regulation on transfers of players involving minors and this made the club to start using its youth player James being one of them alongside Mount, Odoi and Tammy Abraham.
Frank Lampard was appointed Chelsea coach on July 4, 2019 following Maurizio Sarri departure and in the 2019-20 season he had James has one of his key players.
