Kylian Mbappe is a Centre forward playing his club football at French Ligue 1 club Paris-Saint-Germain and represents France at the international level. He was born in Paris, France on December 20, 1998, to a Cameroonian origin father Wilfred Mbappe, and an Algerian origin mother Fayza Lamari who was a handball player.

The three-time Young Player of the Year began his football at the age of 4 years in a youth club called AS Bondy where he went to a private Catholic school and later moved to Monaco in 2013. Prior to joining Monaco, several clubs had attempted to sign him including Chelsea, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich.

At Monaco, he displayed great quality in the two seasons he spent at the club. His debut game was on December 2, 2015, against Caen in a 1-1 draw and his first goal was in a 3-1 win over Troyes. This milestone set a club record for the youngest debutant and scorer. His phenomenal start saw him sign a professional contract in March 2016.

In his second season, he continued to improve through hard work and learning from the likes of Ramadel Falcao some of the skills he lacked. He was key in the Ligue 1 title-winning and scored important goals that enabled Monaco to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League but lost to Juventus.
