Fabio Carvalho is an attacking midfielder who plays his club football at the Championship for Fulham. At the international level, he represents his country Portugal. He was born at Torres Vedras, Portugal on August 30, 2002. The midfielder began his football career at Benfica academy and when his family moved to England, he played for Balham until 2015 when Fulham signed him.

The exciting Carvalho was aged 8 years when he joined Fulham. With his good progress and experience, he was included in the England under-17 team that participated in the Syrenka Cup and was crowned Champions. When he was 15 years old, Carvalho scored a hat trick in his first game for the under-18.

In 2018, he was awarded a scholarship and during the 2018-19 season, he scored 11 goals and registered 8 assists in all competitions for Fulham at the under 18 and under-23 levels. After being impressive to the youths, Fabio was included in the senior team.

He made the senior debut in a 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup as a substitute. In May 2020, Fulham awarded him a two-year contract the first in his professional career. He scored his first goal in the Premier League on May 15, 2021, in a 3-1 defeat against Southampton at St James Park.

During the 2021-22 season, he had an impressive start scoring three times in his first five-game, and in August 2021 his efforts were rewarded when he was named the EFL Young Player of the Month. A further 10 goals and 7 assists assisted his club to gain Premier League promotion.

At the International level, Fabio has represented both England and Portugal national teams at a youth level. He first represented England under 15 in five games, England under 16 in ten games scoring two times against Brazil in a friendly game.

Also, Carvalho played 8 games for England under 17 and 6 games for England under 18. On March 17, 2022, he was called to Portugal’s under 21 teams in readiness for the European Championship qualifier games against Iceland and Greece. He made his debut in a 1-1 draw with Iceland and scored against Greece in a 4-0 win.
