Early Life

Camavinga was born on November 10, 2002 in Miconge Angola but his family moved to France when he was only two years and they were staying in Fougeres where he grew up.  It was in this location that he began playing his youth football for Drapeau-Fougeres between 2008 and 2013 when he joined the Stade Rennais youth.

Stade Rennais FC

Following his contract with Rennes as the youngest player to pen his signature for the club, Camavinga debuted against Angers in a Ligue 1 match that ended in a 3-3 draw on April 6, 2019.

He first got the ball behind the net for the club against Lyon on December 15, 2019 after being crowned the man of the match early on the season when he recorded an assist in their 2-1 win over French giants Paris Saint-Germain. He finished the 2019-20 season with a goal and two assists in 25 games.
