Early Life

He was born September 5, 2001 and was named Bukayo Ayoyinka T. M. Saka, however he is common known by many as Bukayo Saka. Born of Nigerian descent origin parents, Saka was born and raised in London, England. He went to a primary school known as Edward Betham Church of England Primary School. Thereafter, he joined Greenford High School.

The young Saka began his football career playing at the Greenford Celtic, he changed his club and joined Watford until 2008 at the age of 7 years when Arsenal scouted and signed him for their academy team.

Arsenal

Saka joined Arsenal academy at Hale End from Watford youth team when he was seven years. After ten years he promoted to the under 23 team and he signed a contract with the club. He marked his debut against Vorskla Poltava on November 29, 2018 in Europa League.

Coming as a substitute for Alex Iwobi in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Fulham, Saka set a premier league record as the first player born in 2001 to debut in the Premier League. September 19, 2019, he scored his first goal and registered two assist in 3-0 Europa League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

2019-20 was the breakthrough season for Saka as he won the FA Cup with Arsenal and established himself as a first team player. The genesis of his breakthrough was the injuries suffered by Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney forcing Arsenal to use him as a left-back.
